Dragon Knights!!!

Dragon Knights is a wonderfully cool fantasy story, set in a world full of mythical beasts, people with strange powers, and lots of great looking swords. It starts out just following the story of three Dragon Knights -- Rath, Rune and Thats -- but develops into a deeper tale that involves an entire kingdom as the manga progresses.

Each character has his or her own complexity; Rath is part youkai-demon, and he has a score to settle with any other youkai he meets; Rune is part Elf and in love with Tintoretto, the queen of the Elves who must remain forever asleep to keep the monster Farau from awakening; Thats is part human, all thief, and the last person who would've expected himself to become a Dragon Knight. (And he just can't let go of that thieving past.)

There's also plenty of other people around to confuse the show -- the Dragon Emperor Lykouleon, and his four beautiful secretaries, the amazing powerful girl Cesia who has not only human blood but dragon, elf and youkai as well, Kichel, an old thieving rival of Thats(Thatz) who just keeps on turning up, Nohiro, a young man with no memory who wanted to marry Rune (until he realised what sex he was) and even Gil, a moody young man who I'm not entirely sure why he's there, but I believe he's part youkai.

I don't suggest this series to just anyone, it is probably for those of us who are truely otaku's of lord of the rings(yeah, they don't seem to go along, but with elves and such...), Magic Knight Rayearth, or Slayers!(i love those two also).
